National Conference Registration

Call for Abstracts!

The Canadian Nursing Students’ Association (CNSA) Scholarly Showcase is announcing a Call for Abstracts for the 2025 CNSA National Conference in Halifax, NS from January 29th - February 1st, 2025. The Scholarly Showcase is an annual event at the CNSA National Conference that gives nursing students the opportunity to display and present research they have been working on. We believe that as future nursing leaders and healthcare professionals, we must foster an environment to advocate for ourselves, our patients, as well as vulnerable populations.

Research is a crucial part of healthcare, and especially in nursing. It ensures that as health care professionals, we are providing the best and safest care possible to our clients and communities based on evidence and best practices. We encourage all nursing students to reach out to their faculty and colleagues to explore the world of research and to contribute to nursing’s specialized body of knowledge.

Your research or project must meet the following guidelines:

1. Submissions can be made in either French or English. Please indicate in the abstract in which language you wish to present.

2. Indicate your name, school and title of project. Presenters must be undergraduate nursing students attending a chapter school in good standing.

3. Authors must organize and present the research abstract with the following information (Please do not use headings): Background or significance of the project; Purpose of the investigation; Methods to collect and analyze the data; Results of the study; and, Conclusions, including implications for practice
