Black Caucus Chair - Abigail Safo-Adutwum

Hello, my name is Abigail Safo-Adutwum, and I’m a nursing student at York University. I like to sing, act, write spoken word and binge-watch anime! I’m a bit of an ambivert and very excited to be the 2023/2024 Black Caucus Chair. I’m looking forward to stepping out of my comfort zone, learning more about my role and how I can support students and connecting with the many black nursing students and their allies across Canada! I have already sent out a google form to collect interest from some schools, and so far, I have 14 responses from students at York, Trent and the University of Windsor.
