Environmental Sustainability Advocate - Farah Elgaweesh

Hello everyone! I am Farah Elgaweesh, and I am in my third year at the University of Alberta. As an honours nursing student and current co-president of the Sustainable Development Goals Students’ Alliance (SDGSA) at the University of Alberta, I am deeply passionate about the intersection between health, environment, and education. I think this understanding is critical to our nursing profession, as it affects policies that shape our systems and planetary health advocacy. Outside of school, I love photography, chalk art, trying different cuisines, and hanging out with friends.I am so honoured to serve on the CNSA and looking forward to contributing meaningfully and representing nursing students across the
