ACCOMMODATION AND TRANSPORTATION:
If you require accommodations during the conference, please ensure you book hotel rooms as soon as possible. The Conference has been able to reserve a limited amount of discounted quad-rooms ($135/night) from the Courtyard Marriott Downtown Toronto. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE DEADLINE FOR THIS CONFERENCE RATE IS SEPTEMBER 27 AT 0000h. After that date, the rate goes up to $180/night.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
The theme this year is “DIVE into Nursing: Diversity and Inclusivity Via Empowerment.” Our conference will explore a wide variety of topics such as mental health, homelessness, social media, political activism, as well as Aboriginal and LGBTTIQQ2SA communities. Various speakers and workshops will also discuss how nurses can provide holistic and quality care in a variety of community and healthcare settings.

SCHOLARLY ACTIVITIES SHOWCASE:
CALLING ALL NURSING STUDENTS to participate in the conference's Scholarly Activities Showcase (SAS)!
SAS will take place on Friday, October 19, 2012 from 1400-1530 where students will have the opportunity to display and share their work to conference attendees. Some examples of student work can include research projects, scholarly papers/publications, research posters, nursing initiatives, community health nursing projects, aesthetic reflections, critical reflective analysis papers, etc.
If you are interested in participating or have any questions please contact Elisa Nigro at elisa.nigro@ryerson.ca. In order to participate in SAS, you must contact Elisa by 1800 on October 13, 2012.
